Every person makes thousands of decisions every day in their life. Many are simple decisions while others may affect their life dramatically. We tend to think big towards what we care about most. It is the passion that drives a person into the think big state of mind. What most people haven’t realized is that our everyday interaction with the world affects the world we create for ourselves.

Thinking big does not only apply to making lots of money or winning all the awards. The phrase thinking big means finding the best solution to a problem. The better we become at problem solving, the better we become at solving our own problems. Life is a never ending puzzle and we will never win. We can only get better at understand how to play it.

Thinking big should become a habit that is practiced everyday with every decision that we make. It will force us to look at the bigger picture even though the picture may seem small. Learning this skill will make life easier when life seems tough. Learning this skill will open the doors to a world of endless possibilities and opportunities. We live in a world that we create for ourselves, so create and live it BIG.

In a time when our economy is shaken up by massive layoffs, housing foreclosures, and increased credit rates, I ask how financially secure are we? Many people who thought the government would protect them from a recession, has come to realize that the government itself is in trouble. Our national debt has exceeded ten trillion USD and it will be some time before we see a positive change in our economy. Many hope that it will come within a year or two, while the professional analysts predict a much longer period. Because our government has a limited amount of capital, it must allocate it accordingly among the economy, boarder protection, social security, health care and so on.

When it comes to jobs in America, large corporations must remain profitable and competitive. Companies must cut cost by outsourcing work and/or downsizing the workforce. The goal of any corporation is to show a profit to its investors even if it means cutting jobs.

If we sit back and let the government create jobs for us, then we are letting them determine how our future will be. I think the people should determine our own future and therefore we should create it ourselves. In this rough time, the average person is no longer financially secure or safe. It’s time for change, change is here whether we like it or not. In order to live big, we need to dream and think big. Don’t let the government create the job they are promising for you, go out and create it yourself. Find the entrepreneur in you and take complete control of your life.
